Congratulations on taking the first steps towards improving your guitar skills! If this is your first time looking for guitar lessons, you've come to the right place. I specialize in getting adult beginner and self-taught guitarists off of their feet and moving towards their musical goals. I'm confident that together, we can turn you into a thriving guitarist.
As an instructor, it is my goal to remove the barriers that keep you from realizing your musical potential. Whether its problems with rhythm, chord knowledge, or music theory, we'll work together to move beyond your current limitations and help you reach your musical goals.
Guitarists come in as many shapes and sizes as the guitars themselves, and each person learns differently and has different motivations. Some common goals include:

Each one of these examples has its own unique obstacles that prevent you from reaching your goals today. As an instructor, I will use different approaches to help you move beyond these obstacles. I'll be:

- a Mentor; I will encourage you to develop your own abilities and help you find your place in the musical world.
- a Trainer; I will show you exercises that will build muscular and mental strength.
- a Coach; I will encourage you and help you develop your own styles of learning, playing, and problem solving.
When you walk into my studio, you're walking into a space dedicated to giving you the best lessons possible. Among the equipment I will use in our lessons are:
- an extensive library; Over 1,000 songs and 20+ books on guitar technique, music theory, and practicing technique.
- a photocopier; the entire music library is accessible to you.
- studio guitars; test-drive a guitar or leave your own at home.
- a video camera and television; seeing yourself play fixes technical issues faster than traditional techniques.
- a computer with extensive music software; drum machines, advanced metronomes, music manipulation software, music production and recording software are all used to give you the most valuable guitar lessons in Philadelphia.
